On 9 March, Richmond, Virginia-based singer, bandleader and modern soul visionary Matthew E. White will release Fresh Blood, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut Big Inner. Produced by White and Spacebomb partner Trey Pollard and mixed by Pat Dillett (David Byrne, Nile Rodgers), Fresh Blood is now streaming in its entirety via NPR.

Featuring the effortlessly cool and highly addictive single 'Rock & Roll Is Cold', as well as the touching Phillip Seymour-Hoffman tribute 'Tranquility', Fresh Blood is described as "less of an album, more of a grand seduction" in a 4/5 review by Q.

To celebrate the release of the album, Matthew will be performing a special, stripped back show at a sold-out St. Luke's in London on 10 March. A full band headline tour in support of the record will take place in April, including a show at Village Underground on 20 April.

Fresh Blood will be available on CD (WIGCD309), vinyl (WIGLP309) and via digital download (WIG309D). There is also a special edition of the album, which is a double LP gatefold heavyweight vinyl (WIGLP309X) containing a bonus LP titled Fresh Blood: No Skin – a full length minimalist mix of the entire album. You can pre-order Fresh Blood via iTunes and DomMart.
